What are we looking for?


We are seeking an experienced and talented Technical Sales Executive to join our Home & Personal Care Chemical team based in Tema, Ghana.

He/she should have good knowledge of the HPC products, ensuring the promotion and sale of Home and Personal Care (HPC) ingredients and solutions and be fluent in English . 

What do we expect from the candidate?

The candidate will be part of our Chemical team and mainly work in Home & Personal Care products  creating and maintaining a robust client pipeline covering segments such as home cleaning, laundry, hair care, body care, and active ingredients, in line with Solevo’s commercial policy 

The key responsibilities:

Client Portfolio Development


  • Visit and retain current customers.

  • Visit at least 2 prospective customers daily.

  • Recruit and develop new customers.

  • Submit weekly reports on customer visits (CRM Report).

Market Research & Business Development


  • Analyze and report on market trends and competitor activity.

  • Provide strategic recommendations based on findings.

Business Management


  • Create quotes and contracts based on customer forecasts.

  • Ensure profitability and delivery of high-value services.

  • Follow business excellence practices

Innovation


  • Propose high-value products/services to ensure segment growth and market capture.

  • Maintain competitor SWOT and collect market intelligence.

Cash Collection.


  • Assist in timely collections and customer reminders

If you possess…




Must-Have:


  • At least 2+ years of experience in Technical Sales/ Quality Control preferably in HPC/Food.

  • Ability to Identify and fulfill new customer needs.

  • Ability to Negotiate and close deals.

  • Ability to build and sustain partnership.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.

  • Adapt communication per audience.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

  •  An analytical and Innovative mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills in English  for effective stakeholder engagement and documentation.

  • Bachelor’s  degree in Biochemistry/ Chemical Engineering/Biomedical or any related field.

  • Sales experience in Pharmaceutical is also acceptable.

Nice-to-Have

Technical background


  • Familiarity with a range of technical products and services, with the ability to quickly acquire product knowledge

  • Knowledge of internal procedures.

  • Commercial prospecting.

    Strong debugging skills to efficiently resolve issues in the development process.
