JOB SUMMARY Responsible for supporting the Business Analyst in executing spending and variance analysis, reporting Key Performance Indicators, business planning, reporting, coordinating plant budgeting activities in consonance with corporate policies and practices. Works closely with Data Analyst in capturing key data for reporting purposes. GENERAL DUTIES Works with the Data Analyst to capture and report on movements of Raw materials, WIP, finished products, processing supplies, etc. Supports the annual budget development process in consultation with the Business Analyst. Supports Business Analyst in preparation of monthly Economic Results for Managements attention. Under the guidance of the Business Analyst, monitors spending related to overheads, production, maintenance, supplies, and consumables. Develops ad hoc reports for management decision making. Assists with inventory cycle counts inter-month and period-end physicals in-line with company instructions. Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with minimum of 3-5 years experience in Financial and Cost Accounting. Partly Qualified with ICA (Ghana) or CIMA. Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel, financial spreadsheets, and accounting software. Basic understanding of financial trends within the Food Industry. Have a basic understanding of managerial and financial accounting principles.
